/ Project Overview

By employing a multi-sectoral strategy that includes community mobilization, strengthening civil society, and engaging both government stakeholders and the private sector, the project has successfully empowered local “Citizen Voice and Action” task forces to demand better services and budget transparency.

/ Objectives

Key achievements include transitioning communities from polluted water sources to clean wells, integrating nutrition-centric hygiene products into the private market, and establishing Food and Nutrition Security (FNS) councils to enforce government accountability.

Outcome

Ultimately, the project demonstrates that through collaborative policy reform, structural budget monitoring, and the “Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus” approach, Ethiopia can make tangible progress toward its ambitious goal of zero percent stunting by 2030.
