A major milestone in my post-production career was editing the lyric videos for Fikeraddis Nekatibeb’s album—a project that transcended standard lyric videos to become a visual effects masterpiece.
Straying far from typical regional formats, I treated the typography as a living extension of the music. The motion design and rhythm were meticulously locked to the audio tracks—shifting fluidly between playful, emotional, high-energy, and fun, but always serving the music above all else.
In addition to the complex VFX compositing, the project received heavy praise from industry experts for its sophisticated color grading and cinematic tone. By marrying a flawless rhythmic flow with modern visual effects, I established a new benchmark for how album rollouts can be visually experienced in our industry. It remains a proud highlight of my career, proving that even a text-driven format can be a cinematic, high-end spectacle when executed with technical precision.
