One of my landmark achievements in high-end post-production was serving as the Senior Video Editor for Dawit Tsige’s massive 2023 concert at Millennium Hall. This project, which has since garnered millions of views on YouTube, serves as a masterclass in how to edit a large-scale live concert for maximum impact.
Working directly with Dawit Tsige, I ensured the visual storytelling captured the raw energy of the performance, while maintaining a rigorous “audio-first” philosophy. To achieve a world-class standard, I collaborated closely with legendary producer Abegaz Kibrework Shiota, synchronizing the edit with his mastered sound to ensure every frame resonated with the music’s technical precision.
The result was a seamless fusion of cinematic visuals and sonic excellence, setting a new benchmark for concert recaps and performance videos in the region.
